Planning The big day

We were thrilled when the ladies at Hughes Manor asked us to help plan and design their annual open house. We discussed past themes and what they typically do. It has always been a Hughes Manor Soiree, but we wanted to put a huge twist on it. The words vintage, carnival, elegant, circus, quirky instantly came to our minds. We wanted to recreate what a vintage carnival or circus would be. It was very important for us to have different aspects that pulled the theme together throughout the night, enticing all senses. We wanted this to be an experience like no other that couples and vendors would both enjoy. It was crucial that the theme came together and was designed correctly. Lucky for us, we were able to work with a great team of vendors giving us the reassurance we could pull it off. Between the amazing carnival food, the different entertainment acts, annual fashion show, and live music, we believe it was a hit.
